LU-LA is a colorful, funny and gorgeous alien who accidentally lands in the Mossingham Forest stranded on Mossy Bottom Farm, miles from her spaceship. Playful, curious and very lively - in LU-LA Shaun finds a sister in spirit - no wonder that it comes to all sorts of chaos, wherever the two turn up! Endowed with impressive alien abilities like mimicry, telekinesis, and a terrible burp, LU-LA has taken the herd for itself. Shaun decides to help LU-LA find her UFO so that she can return home (and because he knows the fun of this search ...). But the appetite of the hyperactive aliens for chaos makes even Shaun to create.
For Shaun, every offense is the most natural thing in the world. That he loves every kind of nonsense, he proves again and again in this film. He starts everything with the best of intentions - Shaun just loves to gain new experiences - but does not always think about the consequences of his actions ... about Bitzer's eternal frustration. But we also get to know another side of Shaun: the responsible, thoughtful and empathetic Shaun, whose friendship with LU-LA not only leads him into space, but also on a personal journey of discovery to himself, when he learns that every flock and every family needs someone they can really rely on.
Bitzer does not have it easy: Shaun strains his patience to the extreme and therefore he tries to keep the life on the farm in orderly manner with new, stricter rules. Always having his checklist at hand, Bitzer lets his frustration run wild again and again - because not only does he have to keep Shaun in check (or in the fence?), Even the farmer does not make life easy for him. To bring a theme park as the newest source of money for the farmer to run Bitzer must also tackle as a foreman and promoter.
Behind this poker face hides an agent of the "Ministry of extraterrestrial activities". Equipped with bright red lipstick and tailor-made suit Agent Red gets to work - and no UFO escapes her practiced look. When she hears of strange occurrences in Mossingham, she and her team, the Hazmats wearing protective suits, are on the spot.
Agent Red's robot helper is always on the lookout for traces of extraterrestrial life that he can pick up and save. The Robort adds all the finds to its integrated filing system and in this way it can also make evidence disappear - because a shredder is also part of its inner life.
Agent Red's faceless helpers are constantly trying to help them confiscate UFOs. They always wear their yellow protective suits, which are something like their trademark. The Hazmats are constantly listening to the mysterious crackling of their radios as they pursue their task of gathering evidence and monitoring Mossingham through a wide-ranging system of cameras.
The farmer is quite content with his life at Mossy Bottom Farm, giving instructions to his trusty companion Bitzer (who does all the hard work and keeps the herd at bay) and dreams of the Wheatchopper 5000 - the star among them at the end of a long day combines. When he learns of extraterrestrial sightings over the city, the farmer is immediately alert, because the wreckage of his combine is next to a series of mysterious crop circles. In one of his rare, really bright moments, the farmer (not a man who usually thinks too much) realizes that this might be his chance to finally get rich. Maybe these circles are the golden goose to afford a shiny new Wheatchopper 5000? The farmer has his first brainstorm: he will build an alien amusement park and he will call him Farmageddon!
Shaun's friends on the farm are a gracious bunch that keeps getting carried away by Shaun's thirst for adventure. They are only too happy to participate in his latest projects, even if one of them has to serve as a cannonball. In addition, they quickly overcome their initial shock when Shaun brings his alien acquaintance, and stormy greet the new herd member.
